She has worked on many short films and web series, primarily as assistant director and production designer. “Glitter” is her directorial debut. “Glitter” won Best Short Film, Excellence in Screenwriting, Excellence in Editing, and Viewer's Choice as well as nominations in every category in its November 2017 premiere at the Silver Wave Film Festival. |

Memes: A Dankumentary is a satirical look at the world of memes from the eyes of meme enthusiast Nathan Dean as he uses memes and dark humor to cope with his mental illness. Danny Duff is an emerging filmmaker with focus on writing and editing. He grew up in Kitchener Ontario making home movies, enjoying science-fiction and fantasy films and comics, and is a general lover of stories. After high school Danny graduated from Humber College’s Media Foundation program in 2016 and is now in his second year of Humber’s Film & TV Production program. His short film Binge was an official selection of the Toronto Youth Shorts festival in 2017. He’s worked for 4 years as a videographer at Camp Kwasind in Muskoka, and created over 50 short films for the camp. |

Two women run into each other at a local pool after meeting once, years ago, at a wedding. Connected through social media ever since, they navigate their way through an awkward exchange of 'catching up'. As assumptions provoke revelations, they reflect on the changes in their lives since the last time they met, ultimately finding hope for the future in this brief connection with a friend, from Facebook. About the Director: Chris began her career as an award-winning painter, before moving into filmmaking. The recipient of a screenwriting grant from the Canada Council, Chris has written and directed half a dozen short films, and has over ten years of experience in the industry as an Assistant Director. Last year, Chris directed ACTING UP which won ‘Best Comedy’ at the Toronto International Short Film Festival. FRIENDS ON FACEBOOK is her most recent short film - it premiered at the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival, where she was also a participant in Women in the Director's Chair’s CAM Program. Chris is a Director Member of the DGC, and is currently developing her first feature. |
