Mnemosyne ~ Dir. Tracey Lavigne ~ Fredericton, Canada ~ 2018 ~ 9:24
Tracey won us all over at last year's fest with her film GLITTER, and even took home the coveted Deep Cut Award. You're in for a treat, because we're screening her newest film, Mnemosyne, which as you can see by the poster, is already tearing things up on the fest circuit!

Here's a little synopsis as supplied by producers:

Over the course of her lonely shift at a convenience store, a young woman pieces together hazy memories of what happened to her the night before and confronts an ugly truth.
After a harrowing night in which a friend spikes her drink, rapes her, and leaves her to wander home alone and disoriented, Ash gets up and goes to work as if nothing is wrong. As the lingering effects of the drug wear off and memories resurface, Ash struggles with a choice over the thing she tries to deny: does she keep it to herself, or risk asking for help?
